Romain Froquet, born in 1982, lives and works in France. Since the late 1990s, he has dedicated his life to painting. A self-taught artist, he builds his work upon diverse cultural influences and reflections on the connections that exist in this world.<\/p>

He draws inspiration from contemporary artists and pioneers of abstract painting, such as Arshile Gorky, Jackson Pollock, and Willem de Kooning. Why is this interest in abstraction?
