S\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 parmi huit artistes pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s par la galerie Mathgoth, il a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une fresque urbaine sur le mur du b\u00e2timent Vand\u2019affaire. Elle repr\u00e9sente un arbre monumental.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cet arbre est agr\u00e9ment\u00e9 de tons chatoyants pour compenser le manque d\u2019exposition au soleil\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0On est sur un mur qui est plein nord, qui est toujours \u00e0 l\u2019ombre donc. C\u2019est pour \u00e7a que j\u2019ai travaill\u00e9 sur des couleurs tr\u00e8s lumineuses. Et je viens r\u00e9chauffer tout \u00e7a avec du jaune, de l\u2019or, de l\u2019ocre, des couleurs tr\u00e8s li\u00e9es \u00e0 la terre\u00a0\u00bb. En fond, un bleu turquoise \u00e9voque un ciel resplendissant. Cette couleur renforce le c\u00f4t\u00e9 chaleureux et met la fresque murale en valeur par un contraste percutant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Des courbes noires et sobres forment les contours de l\u2019arbre. Ce style \u00e9pur\u00e9 donne \u00e0 celui-ci des allures de totem. Ces courbes sont caract\u00e9ristiques de l\u2019\u0153uvre de Romain Froquet qui base son travail sur la ligne et le lien entre les individus. La repr\u00e9sentation d\u2019un arbre cadre tout \u00e0 fait cette orientation\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Par son syst\u00e8me racinaire, il entre en connexion avec ses pareils. Et c\u2019est aussi une m\u00e9taphore de la condition humaine.\u00a0\u00bb Cette fresque n\u2019a pas uniquement pour fonction d\u2019embellir la rue. Elle a \u00e9galement pour but de faire parler d\u2019elle, de pousser les habitants de ce quartier populaire en mutation \u00e0 s\u2019interroger et \u00e0 d\u00e9battre.
