Ce lieu situ\u00e9 sous la coupole Binet, au 7<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0\u00e9tage du magasin parisien n\u2019\u00e9tait plus accessible au public depuis presque 100\u00a0ans. D\u2019une surface de 1300\u00a0m\u00b2, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 baptis\u00e9 le 7<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0Ciel. La mode \u00e9coresponsable, les v\u00eatements vintages et de seconde main y ont trouv\u00e9 leur place.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La direction artistique du Printemps Haussmann avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 collabor\u00e9 avec Romain Froquet. En 2012, celui-ci \u00e9tait intervenu avec le <a href=\"http:\/\/9eme.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">9<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0Concept<\/a> pour un \u00e9v\u00e9nement <a href=\"http:\/\/romainfroquet.fr\/index.php\/portfolio\/scratch-paper\/\">Scratch Paper<\/a>. Le collectif d\u2019artistes avait alors effectu\u00e9 sa performance dans toutes les vitrines du bd Haussmann. En 2015, Romain Froquet \u00e9tait invit\u00e9 \u00e0 peindre deux fresques sur le plafond du 2<sup>d<\/sup>\u00a0\u00e9tage, \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du 150<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0anniversaire du grand magasin. Le long du couloir menant \u00e0 la coupole du Printemps et des murs qui le pr\u00e9c\u00e8dent, il a trac\u00e9 de grandes lignes bleues vaporeuses. Cette \u0153uvre, intitul\u00e9e Gesture, d\u00e9fend deux id\u00e9es. Celle tout d\u2019abord de l\u2019infinit\u00e9, sugg\u00e9r\u00e9e par les lignes en perp\u00e9tuel mouvement. Cela s\u2019accorde avec l\u2019esprit donn\u00e9 \u00e0 cette partie du magasin qui met en avant la r\u00e9utilisation des produits et des mat\u00e9riaux. Romain Froquet souhaitait \u00e9galement d\u00e9stabiliser les rep\u00e8res du public en amenant l\u2019art dans une zone commerciale. Un lieu o\u00f9 il est peu pr\u00e9sent et rarement de fa\u00e7on si visible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019intervention de Romain Froquet ne s\u2019est pas limit\u00e9e aux murs. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 associ\u00e9 \u00e0 la conception du sol. Sous le d\u00f4me de verre et de m\u00e9tal de la coupole Binet, un immense tapis persan stylis\u00e9, d\u2019une dimension de 600\u00a0m\u00b2 a \u00e9t\u00e9 pos\u00e9. Romain Froquet y a superpos\u00e9 des lignes bleues et blanches de diff\u00e9rentes nuances, s\u2019accordant avec les tons de son \u0153uvre Gesture. Deux univers se m\u00ealent sur ce tapis\u00a0: l\u2019artisanat traditionnel avec les motifs persans et l\u2019art urbain avec les lignes.
