Une fresque aux connexions multiples<\/h4>\n

Le Mans est une ville qui met volontiers ses murs \u00e0 disposition des artistes. Romain Froquet y a laiss\u00e9 son empreinte. S\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 par le cabinet d\u2019architecture Soho, il est intervenu sur la fa\u00e7ade d\u2019un des plus anciens immeubles de bureaux du quartier de la Gare Sud. Un \u00e9difice vide depuis 2017 et en cours de r\u00e9habilitation.<\/p>\n

Pour le choix des couleurs de la fresque, Romain Froquet s\u2019est inspir\u00e9 des caract\u00e9ristiques de la ville du Mans. Le c\u00f4t\u00e9 min\u00e9ral du gr\u00e8s des b\u00e2timents en pierre s\u2019associe au c\u00f4t\u00e9 v\u00e9g\u00e9tal et terreux de cette cit\u00e9 verdoyante. L\u2019artiste a ajout\u00e9 des touches lumineuses et solaires afin d\u2019apporter un peu de chaleur dans l\u2019environnement gris de ce quartier construit dans les ann\u00e9es 1980. Une mani\u00e8re aussi de capter l\u2019attention du voisinage ainsi que celle des voyageurs passant par la gare.<\/p>\n

La gare toute proche a influenc\u00e9 Romain Froquet pour la composition de sa fresque. Les lignes qui s\u2019entrecroisent \u00e9voquent les rails de chemin de fer qui prennent diff\u00e9rentes directions. Elles donnent l\u2019impression d\u2019\u00eatre en mouvement. C\u2019est aussi un clin d\u2019\u0153il \u00e0 la vitesse, symbole des fameuses comp\u00e9titions de sport m\u00e9canique qui ont lieu au Mans.<\/p>\n
